We have worked for many years with this client at his restaurants Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Busaba, Wagamama and Park Chinois. This new ‘Cantonese pub’ combines the oriental dining-out with the English pub.
Hourglass produced the facade by printing a stained glass pattern on film and laminating this between two sheets of glass. We then water-jet cut aluminium sheets and, after they were anodised, bonded them to the glass in register with the laminated design. This process was carried out on both the flat and curved panels that formed the facade.
